Childhood cancer does not discriminate!
In November of 2013, it was Libby Claire Rushing that was diagnosed. There are currently over 50 people in the Wiregrass area who have received a childhood cancer diagnosis. Childhood cancer is the #1 cause of non-accidental death among children.
Childhood cancer research only received 4% of federal funding. Currently, there are only 3 drugs specifically approved to treat Childhood Cancer.
NO parent is ever prepared for this diagnosis.

MEET LIBBY CLAIRE

Libby Claire Rushing was born on August 21, 2009 in Dothan, AL. Libby Claire Rushing was the daughter of TRay & Lindsey Rushing and proud Big Sister of Molly Cate Rushing. Libby Claire loved life and always let her light SHINE for JESUS! Libby Claire loved singing, dancing, entertaining, art work, theater, and playing with her friends. Libby Claire was in the 1st grade at Providence Christian School. Libby Claire never met a stranger and always love everyone she met. Libby Claire had a smile that would light up any room! Through this foundation Libby Claire's Light Will ALWAYS Shine Bright For JESUS!!!
